About The Farmhouse at Green Hill
The Farmhouse at Green Hill is nestled in the country with deer and other wildlife often being seen, and stars shining brightly at night. In the evenings, enjoy the lights in the historic Oaks and Elms that surround the house.
The property was once known as the “Estate” by the family that owned the land since the 1700s by a grant of the King of England and was a farm, a dairy, and later timber property. The house is nestled among pecan groves and historic buildings that were once the heart of the farm and dairy. Come and be a part of the history that envelopes you when you step onto The Farmhouse at Green Hill.
Your wedding, reception or rehearsal dinner can be held outside overlooking the pecan groves, in the barn with its crystal chandeliers, or inside the historic house for smaller affairs. The house may also be rented for its bridal suite or for overnight guests. The venue also boasts a “Lemonade Stand” for service of your beverages or hors d’oeuvres. The deep front and side porches can be used for relaxing or for your guests to enjoy a catered affair. The enclosed back porch with its eight foot handmade tables is perfect for your rehearsal dinner or for your smaller wedding reception. The beautifully restored staircase can be used to capture the moment when you first see your true love on your special day or as a backdrop to your reception.
